WeFab.org is a social enterprise model for crowd-sourcing the design, production and distribution of certain products. The website is still under construction, but please sign up if you are interested in finding out more.

Carbon Trust - Pilot Project for product carbon Footprinting.
Employed by Alara to undertake a pilot project on product carbon footprinting. This involved research on the whole food chain, from the farm, manufacturing, packaging, retail and end of life.
The project was used to test the modelling tool: Footprint Expert designed by the Carbon Trust.


January 2009 - July 2009
Design London Fellowship
Design London Fellow on the business school MBA course. The course looked at how Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Design can benefit business.
RCA graduates were invited to join MBA students on live projects, and work though business plans in order to get funding from venture capitalists.



2007
Rapid Prototyping experiments
A collaborative piece of research work with Joanna Lewis, Textile designer from the RCA.
We modelled 3-dimensional knits on the computer and printed them in rubber using the rapid prototyping facilities at the RCA. We were able to create knits of varying yarn thickness, designing knit patterns that would be impossible to do using traditional techniques.
